Welcome to the new online home of Scottish supermoto for 2008. This is going to be a great year for Scottish supermoto now that we once again have the use of the East Of Scotland Kart Club track at Crail.  This is a fantastic track for supermotos and has some excellent facilities - it's getting even better with all the improvements to track track - some already done and some coming soon.

For those of you who don't know where the track is, you can find it here and see an aerial view here. Hope to see you on track this year.

All supermotos are welcome subject to these rules, as agreed by the Supermoto Committee for 2008 (full rules are listed on entry forms):

• All bikes must have peg and axle sliders fitted.
• All bikes must have a fluids catch tank fitted.
• All 4-stroke bikes must have a DB Dawg decibel reducer fitted.
• 2-strokes don't need to have a DB Dawg but MUST be under 92Db.
• All bikes will be noise tested and MUST be under 92db (static test).
• Riders must wear full leathers, gloves, boots & full face helmet.

Race round 2 was a another great success (other than some timing equipment problems - pesky mice!) - put the next round of our Scottish Championship in your diary. The club and the racing continue to go from strength to strength and with more riders making the long trip from down south - word is spreading how great Crail is! Track days are fun but racing will improve your skills and provide a buzz that will keep you going to the next round - so go on... try racing!

For your first track experience come along on the Saturday before any race for a Track Day where you can be guided and enjoy the track at your own pace. Please visit this web site and the forum on a regular basis and get racing in 2008.
