Welcome to the online home of Scottish supermoto. 2008 has been a great year for Scottish supermoto once again have the use of the East Of Scotland Kart Club track at Crail Raceway.  This is a fantastic track for supermotos and has some excellent facilities - it got even better in 2008 with all the improvements to the track - new tarmac sections, a new and improved 'old' dirt section and a large 'new' dirt section - this has to be one of the best supermoto tracks in the UK.

All supermotos are welcome subject to certain rules - which are listed on event entry forms and in club rules - Some points to note are:

• All bikes must have full handguards, peg and axle sliders fitted.
• All bikes must have a fluids catch tank fitted.
• All bikes must have oil in and out plugs/caps lockwired.
• All 4-stroke bikes must have a DB Dawg decibel reducer fitted.
• 2-strokes don't need to have a DB Dawg but MUST be under 92Db.
• All bikes will be noise tested and MUST be under 92db (static test).
• Riders must wear full leathers, gloves, boots & full face helmet.

GENERAL

The club and the racing have gone from strength to strength in the 2008 season - word has spead how great Crail is for supermoto! Members are up and crail is now a British Supermoto fixture as well.  Roll on the 2009 season - bigger, better, faster, Supermoto in Scotland is back to stay!

For those new to supermoto riding... track days are fun but racing will improve your skills even more and provide a buzz that will keep you going to the next round - so go on... try racing - It's not as intimidating as you might think! For your first track experience come along on the Saturday before any race for a Track Day where you can be guided and enjoy the track at your own pace. SCOTTISH CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6

The sun came out for the final round of the championship and brought out more spectators as well.  Another great success and a fantastic end to the summer season. There was some great racing especially since the good weather meant that both off road seactions were open and used in the races, giving some great spectator action.
